OOB network access

Management-plane connectivity across the SPNA site estate.

SPNA provides out-of-band access around the shared footprint so members can reach infrastructure, manage devices, and simplify remote operations where shared connectivity already exists.

Simple member access

The OOB network is available around SPNA locations with single-port access, LX 1310 or copper termination, and a simple per-location allocation model.

Operational use

The service supports remote management, resilience planning, and day-to-day support operations for equipment deployed in SPNA-connected locations.

Underlying network

The OOB service is backhauled using the 1310 port of the passive DWDM muxes, so while it is diverse from Layer 2 and Layer 3 member wavelength paths, it still relies on the same underlying dark fibre infrastructure.

Public pricing

Published OOB pricing for the SPNA estate.

Pricing is based on a single 1GE OOB port per SPNA location with LX 1310 or copper termination. Cross-connects are member or client run, or SPNA can arrange them and charge at cost.
